Chaukhi mountain system, which includes more than 15 (3300-3860 m.) high peaks, is unique in the Caucasus, it is the most impressive mountain massif of the region, together with the Mountain Kazbegi. Here, the easiest routes and difficult walls meet side by side, and their variety allows for countless combinations for visitors of all experience levels. It is one of the rare mountain regions closest to civilization in Georgia.
Chaukhi is accessible from two sides, from the Juta and Roshka sides. Our Base amp is located on the green grass from the Juta side. From the camp in the direction of the mountain, it is quite comfortable to climb of various peaks.
Chaukhi Camp offer:
Alpine programs - Climbs according to the gradation of difficulty and preparation: rock climbing, rope work, and organization of protection.
Ascents - On different categories of routes, from the base camp: vertical 700-1250, difficulty 1 -5B (uiaa)
The height of the Chaukhi mountains and the distances of the routes allow climbing to the top and returning to the base camp in one day. It does not require prior preparation for acclimatization, it can be done during the tour.

Fitness
The route requires good, intensive physical preparation in advance. Climbers must be in good physical shape to join these climbs.
Technical
Mountaineering experience will be great and useful, but it’s not required.

Day 1 : Arrive Kutaisi \ Tbilisi. You will be meet at the airport by a Caucasus Adventures representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2 : Travel to Juta-Base Camp. In the morning, we will check all equipment, sort and organize our gear and supplies, departure (Duration 3 hour).
Hiking to the Base Camp. The duration of the ascent is 2 hours.
Route selection.
Overnight in tents.
Day 3 : Summit day. Breakfast, preparation for the summit. Start 2-hour hike. Climbing duration 3-4 hours.
Return to base camp, and rest.
Day 4 : Summit day. Breakfast, preparation for the summit. start 2 -hour. climbing duration 3-4 hours.
Return to base camp, and rest.
Day 5 : reserve day
In case a bad weather.
Day 6 : Returning to Juta, Transfer to Tbilisi\Kutaisi
Accommodation in a hotel.
Day 7 : Departure.
Transfer to the airport (Kutaisi-Tbilisi).
